Our Story

Baoshi Food Hall + Bar is rooted in family, tradition, and a passion for bringing people together over great food in Pembroke Pines. Our story began in the summer of 2015, when our family opened Gold Marquess Fine Chinese Cuisine, a Chinese restaurant right on Pines Boulevard. For years, we built a place where families and friends could gather, enjoy authentic Chinese food, and celebrate meaningful moments.

As the South Florida food scene grew across Miami and Fort Lauderdale, we saw an opportunity closer to home. Guests often shared that they wanted more variety, more energy, and a place where they could enjoy sushi, Chinese food, Korean dishes, ramen bowls, and bubble tea all in one location. There was a clear need for a unique dining experience in Pembroke Pines that brought these flavors together.

That idea led to the creation of Baoshi Food Hall + Bar. Today, Baoshi is an Asian food hall in Pembroke Pines that combines multiple concepts under one roof. From sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes to Cantonese cuisine, Korean fried chicken, and Asian comfort food. Alongside the food, guests can enjoy craft cocktails, live music, and weekly events in a vibrant, social setting.

The name 宝石 (Bǎoshí), meaning “precious gem,” reflects our vision: to create a hidden gem in the Pembroke Pines community. Inspired by the energy of Asian night markets, Baoshi offers a place where guests can explore different cuisines, discover new flavors, and enjoy a dynamic dining and nightlife experience without leaving the neighborhood.

Whether you’re searching for sushi in Pembroke Pines, dumplings, Korean fried chicken, ramen, or a place to eat, drink, and gather with friends, Baoshi Food Hall + Bar is designed to bring people together. From quick bites to full nights out, every visit is meant to feel memorable, welcoming, and full of flavor.
